The Esoteric Muse Background + Story

 The entire reason I started making perfumes and natural products is because I had my own concerns and distrust of commercial products, and so I really understand the concerns surrounding scents, fragrances, and essential oils.

            I feel that in this day and age it is obligatory to address these concerns with transparency and expertise to ensure that customers feel confident in my products and practices.

My Journey in Herbalism

With a decade of dedicated practice and education equivalent to two master’s degrees in herbalism, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the field of alternative medicine. This journey began in 2015 under the guidance of a pioneer in the essential oil industry (unaffiliated with major commercial brands).

Through a mentorship that evolved into a deep friendship, I was not only trained but also supported through fully funded herbal education, an opportunity that has been pivotal in shaping my foundational proficiency in the holistic healing field.

In 2022 I sought out further education and was unable to pursue it due to personal matters, however the headmaster of the college I was seeking told me that my combined education + work in the field + my unconventional approach to learning equaled the equivalent of 2 masters degrees in herbalism, if that were recognized.
Since she said this in a zoom meeting, I am unable to reference it directly, however it left a strong impression on me as this was previously unknown to me, and motivated me to continue my dedication to honing my vision towards my future in herbalism and it became deeply rooted in me.

Education + Training

2015–2017: Aromatherapy Certification Studied Aromatherapy and Herbalism at Natural Healing College, earning a certification in Aromatherapy in 2017, This included active work in the field - and teaching classes on Aromatherapy, Herbalism, and making DIY products.

2017–2018: Introductory Herbalism Enrolled in Herbal Academy’s self-paced Introductory Herbal Course, completed in one year. Included the study of herbal preparations, the immune, respiratory, skin and nervous systems and ailments, herbal therapeutics, the holistic model of health, and the successful completion and passage of examinations. The distinction of herbalist is bestowed on those that choose to work in the field of herbalism as growers, teachers, producers, nurtures, and clinicians while continuing a lifelong pursuit of knowledge in this field.

2018–2021: Intermediate Herbalism Continued education with the Herbal Academy’s Intermediate Herbal Course, completed over two years. My rigorous approach to this program deepened the understanding of herbal therapeutics and holistic health practices, further honing skills through hands-on application and comprehensive study.

An Unconventional Approach to Learning

My commitment to herbalism is shown in my unique and thorough approach to education. Handwritten notes, video recordings, and active fieldwork complemented formal coursework, ensuring a deep and functional understanding of the subject. This dedication extended beyond the classroom, with direct client practice + teaching classes during the educational journey. Professional Experience With 8.5 years in the alternative healing industry, I have worked extensively as a grower, teacher, producer, and guide for others. This includes: 2015–2017: Mentorship, Education and Employment under a local figure in the essential oil industry, providing hands-on experience and foundational knowledge.

2017–2021: Active practice with clients and teaching classes while pursuing formal herbal education.
2022–2023: A period that resulted in personal growth, including time spent working with horses, which enriched my holistic view.
2023–Present: Continued practice in the herbalism field, bringing a total of 2.5 additional years of professional experience, and in the last year or so, I have dedicated more time to my own personal business of Perfumery, natural products, + other unique and valuable natural healing products.

My Beliefs

I believe herbalism is a synergistic + evolving field, driven by a shared passion for holistic alternative methods for healing, nutrition and wellbeing, and continued lifelong learning. My background, rooted in rigorous education and real-world experience, ensures that I deliver high-quality, intentionally crafted products. Literally, each bottle matters to me. I pray over and bless all my products with good intentions and goodwill towards others. I am so grateful that I can reach my community and generate trust through transparency, integrity, and a dedication to the holistic way of life.
