The Ingredients: Sandalwood | Honey | Patchouli | Amber | Jasmine

Honey itself is a sort of alchemy - the hard work of the bees, and is connected to the busywork of the bees and the magic that they create. Honey has been called the nectar of the gods. Bees are often considered as messengers between the realms.

Patchouli oil has long been used in sensual blends that are designed to attract. As an attraction oil, it is often used in blends for abundance and prosperity. Patchouli, to me, feels like many of the woody oils, and is akin to sitting beneath an ancient tree, completely safe and nurtured, basking in the brilliance of the earth. Patchouli balances Kapha (earth+water) and Pitta (Fire) in Ayurveda. Patchouli was known to dispel fears.

Jasmine is helpful to release fears associated with sexuality and let go of feelings of unworthiness and being used. Jasmine is known to be used in rituals associated with love, intuition, healing. Jasmine can open connections spiritually and deepen spiritual experiences. Jasmine is strong but gentle, supportive and encouraging the wearer to calm oneself and relax. In Ayurveda, Jasmine helps balance all the elements in a persons body but is particularly helpful to cool fire. The name ‘Jasmine‘ originates from the Persian word ‘yasmin‘ which translates to “gift from God“. Jasmine was anciently a Masculine flower - being called "The King of Flowers".

Sandalwood offers protection and can assist a person shield themselves against lower energy forces. Sandalwood has a high frequency and is often used in rituals to align the higher mind with the body. It brings sensuality to the forefront, along with calm composure and aids with deep meditative states. This blend has a particularly helpful way of enhancing intuition and awareness, and can even assist with remembrance on a cellular level. In ayurveda, Sandalwood is connected to the Air element - as it balances Kapha and Pitta in Ayurveda, and is cooling, bitter, light and dry. In other traditions, Sandalwood is said to be associated with the Earth and Water element. Sandalwood is considered "The Epitome of Excellence."

Amber brings inner warmth and fire. Amber cannot be talked about enough. Amber can be used to connect the wearer to the higher self.
The classical Greek name for amber is elektron (or electrum) which means “beaming sun”. I use Amber in nearly all of my blends. Amber is traditionally used in Jewelry as protection from evil, and is considered an amplifier. It is associated with the Earth and the Sun. Fire + Earth element. Amber is most commonly known to be associated with the Fire element - I added earth to this because it is literally from both the earth - tree resin - and the Sun which helped the tree grow. Theoretically, Amber is also connected with water and air - because a Tree cannot grow in the first place without all the elements. Amber is connected to many Goddesses and there are countless folk traditions, lore and mythological connections which are dedicated to Amber.
